Word Work: Our class will be learning to form plurals by adding -s, -es, or -ies to words such as rocks, wishes, boxes, and puppies this week. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to access the Unit 20 practice list for the week.   Music Performance:   The students have begun practicing together on stage.     Weekly Update  September 7, 2021 9/6 No School / Labor Day 9/7 Welcome to Second Grade!  We will meet at door 6(teacher parking lot side) at 8:25.     We have Art 9/8 No Specials Today. 9/9 We have Gym 9/10 We have Music First Week:  We are excited for our  first week in second grade!  We look forward to  all the great learning we have ahead of us.  Thank you for sharing your children and being a part of our Lincoln School Family. Snack Reminder:  Our second graders will need 2 healthy snacks each day and a water bottle.  At this time, our drinking fountains are not available but water bottles may be filled so students can stay hydrated.
