Ice Skating is today 12/9 We have gym 12/10 We have music Word Work: Our class will be learning about the r-controlled o syllable pattern this week. The following words are examples of this pattern: born, more, roar, floor, and yourself. Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns. Spelling City is ready for students to access the practice list for the week. Ice Skating: Thanks to our PTO and the City of St. Joseph, our Lincoln School K-5 students will be able to ice skate for free at the Howard Ice Arena on Thursday, December 17th. Happy New Year: I hope everyone had a wonderful vacation and is ready to return to school tomorrow! Please remember students should bring a charged computer, library books, a water bottle, and snack. If there is snow still on the ground, please also bring boots. If students want to play in the snow, they may want snow pants so pants stay dry. Students will not call home for dry pants.
