 today’s meaning.  We have Music

Thank you!  Thank you so much for a great start to our year. The children were excited, prepared, and hard working.  I also appreciate all the supplies that were sent in.  They will be so useful throughout the year.

Back to School Night:  I am excited to welcome everyone back into the classroom on September 20th from 6:00-6:45.   I will begin promptly at 6, do a quick run through of the key details of Room 104, provide a copy of my powerpoint both in paper and on the blog, and be done by about 6:20. After that I will stay around to answer questions. Please note that I WILL NOT be answering any questions about your child at that time. I am happy to answer these questions in email, in pre-arrranged meetings, or at conferences in October. Thank you for your understanding.

Laps For Lincoln:  Yay Laps For Lincoln is back.  The event is October 1st at Lincoln School.  Stay tuned for more information to come home on September 20th.

Getting to Know You:  On Tuesday, we sent home a paper asking for information important to the 2nd grade teachers. Thank you so much for completing this.  I was so appreciative of all the wonderful information you shared about your child/family.  This will help me be a better teacher for your child.

Mr. Hubble’s Blog:  Please remember to look to Mr. Hubble's blog in addition to the teacher blog for important Lincoln School information.

Classroom Allergies: Thank you for keeping our classroom safe this week by providing snacks that are peanut free, tree nut free, and egg free. I understand this can be challenging at times and I greatly appreciate all you are doing to keep every child safe.

Nightly Reading:  Students are expected to read every night for 15 min.

Daily Schedule:  Please remember that the beginning of the school day is one of the most important times as the day’s expectations and routines are established.   Having your child to school on time means they don’t walk into the room and start their day trying to figure out what is happening.  Thank you so much for your help with this.
