  Weekly Update November 1, 2021 11/1 We have media center. Books are due back today. 11/2 We have art. 11/3 Late Start  School will start at 9:25.   11/4 We have gym. 11/5 We have music. Word Work : Our class will learn words that follow the long e digraph syllable pattern this week.  Long e digraph syllable patterns use the following vowel teams ie, ea, and ee. The following words are examples of this pattern chief, stream, and sneeze.  Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to practice the long e digraph word list.     Weekly Update October 25, 2021 10/25 We have Media Center and books are due. 10/26 We have art. 10/27 Late Start  School will start at 9:25.   10/28 We have   gym 10/29 We have music  Halloween Party at 2:25    Parade at 3:15 pm. Halloween Party: Thank you for your patience in receiving Halloween Party Info. The sign up link is here. It will be a simple craft, snack, team activity, and then the parade at 3:15. Students may wear their costumes all day. Please email me with any questions. Thank you! The class filled the bead jar so we will have an Everything Goes Day.   That means students may do the following....     *bring one soft item     *bring one mindful item     *bring books for read-in time     *dress like a twin     *bring one toy for indoor toy time (no electronics)     *bring one clear liquid to go with our Popcorn from           Popcorn Friday     *time to work with craft material for arts & craft          time    As always please feel free to email me with any questions.  Thank you!

The class did it again.  The bead jar is filled.  They voted for an indoor toy time which means they can bring a non-electronic or an electronic toy.  They also asked if they can bring safe candy during snack and I said yes.  Please refer to an earlier post in the blog for safe candies.  Some of the options include, Smarties, Tootsie Rolls from a non-mix bag, Dum Dum suckers, Starburst, Skittles, Jolly Ranchers and Air Heads.  Please email me if you have any questions.  Thank you!

Thank you for all of your wonderful support. We have raised funds to enrich the lives of all our students. We have awesome students who show their best selves everyday.
